INTERPRETERS FOR ANY NEED

Depending on the type of event, we are able to offer the most appropriate form of interpreting, whether it is:

• Events with: simultaneous, consecutive, simultaneous in over sound, in which the implementation of systems/equipment is required
• Corporate and B2B meetings with: negotiation, chuchotage (no equipment required)
• Voice-over: interpreters in the media field

Types:

Simultaneous interpreters

Simultaneous interpreting is the verbal translation carried out “on-the-go” by a professional using the appropriate equipment (simultaneous translation system). The audience is equipped with earphones to follow the speakers’ speech in their own language. The translation takes place "simultaneously". It is also a technique suitable for conferences with speakers and audiences of various nationalities, where it is possible to provide multiple simultaneous workstations and interpreters to cover the various language combinations.

Consecutive interpreters

Consecutive interpreting is advisable where simultaneous equipment cannot be implanted. The technique foresees that the speaker speaks without interrupting for about 5/8 minutes, during which the interpreter takes notes and then transposes the "meaning" of the speech in the language understood by the public. The consecutive interpreter normally does not take precise and detailed notes, but rather captures the essence of the listened speech using few and effective symbols to represent it and finally translate it. Keep in mind that with this service doubles the times of the interventions, and for this reason we recommend for short speeches.

Over-sound interpreters

ver-sound interpreters There is also a second simultaneous translation service opportunity: the over sound one. The over sound is a simultaneous translation, ideal for events with very large audiences and single languages and for which the use of receivers is impossible. This type of service can be performed in different ways, and the most common one is when the translator’s voice is carried through the room over the PA and over the speaker’s voice.

Interpreters for Commercial or technical negotiation

Although the Internet has created new and more immediate ways of communicating, face-to-face exchange remains by far the preferred and most immediate one. This type of interpreting is used for small groups of people and can be carried out for a single linguistic combination. The negotiation interpreter favours communication in the context of multiple meeting opportunities such as: business meetings, business negotiations, finalisation of contracts, interviews, fairs, company visits, etc. Our interpreters are used to working alongside entrepreneurs and companies on these important occasions, but without making their presence alter the natural interaction between the parties.

Chuchotage interpreters or whispered

Chuchotage interpreting is also called "whispering". It is the technique of "whispering" the translation of what has been said. This technique is used in bilateral meetings or in groups where only some delegates do not master a common language. Chuchotage is the most used form of interpreting in interviews or on TV shows, where the interpreter translates for the international guest in a low voice.

Voiceovers and Voice over

We have all seen it: the voiceover is structured like an off-screen voice in a video, or as a narrator, for which we use artists with voices particularly suitable for what is needed. Our voice-over services are ideal for:

The voice over is a voice that speaks "above" another. Unlike dubbing, the original voice is not removed, but the translation is inserted as the voice above going through what is being said in its original context. This technique is obviously widely used in journalism, reports, films and television.
